Homemade Sausage Pizza

Tonight I went with an easy slam dunk dinner!  We love to eat pizza so this is always a go to for us!  Here are the things you will need:
  • Pizza Dough (I used Betty Crocker!!)
  • Pizza Sauce
  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 smallish onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Fry up the sausage, onion, and green peppers together. . . It's waaaaay more delish this way!  While that is cooking up together, get your dough ready.  If you are making your own go for it, if you are taking a shortcut like me, follow the directions on your package!  This time I pre-baked the dough for about 3 minutes to get it started cooking so that it was not too soggy after it baked!  Once this is ready to go, drain and rinse your sausage.  Put some sauce on the crust and just a little sprinkle of cheese.  Then add as much or as little of your sausage mixture on.  We like it loaded so I usually use the whole pound!!  Then cover with how much ever mozzarella cheese you'd like and bake according to the package directions. Once the cheese is nice and brown and bubbly, it is finished!  Let it sit for a few minutes before you cut it, otherwise you have an oozy mess of cheese wasted all over the place!  Happy Eating!!
