Smoothies smoothies smoothies!!

So for the last couple of days, we have been trying our hand at making some healthy smoothies!  We have had pretty good luck, except for the peaches.  BAD IDEA.  Not sure what happened, but it was a disaster!  In other news, I have 3 other recipes that we found to be pretty delicious!  No pictures. . .As we make them again I'll update with those.  They were too delish to dilly-dally with taking photos! 

Blueberry Smoothie
-1 Cup frozen unsweetened blueberries
-3/4 Cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
-1 banana
-1/2 Cup low fat vanilla yogurt
-1 Cup orange juice
-2 Tbsp honey
 
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth!  Adjust orange juice and honey to make it as sweet or as tart as you prefer.
 
 
Mixed Berry Smoothie
-1 Cup frozen mixed berries
-1 banana
-1/4 Cup orange juice
-1/2 Cup low fat vanilla yogurt
-1 Tbsp honey
-3 tsp sugar
 
Blend in blender until smooth.  There is definitely room for more sweetness if that is what you prefer!  Add and customize as you wish :)
 
 
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
-2 Cups frozen strawberries
-1 banana
-1 cup fat free milk
-1/2 Cup low fat vanilla yogurt
-3 tsp sugar
 
Blend all ingredients until nice and smooth.  Enjoy!

  1. Kirsten! Sometime try using unsweetened almond milk. It's twice as good for you as dairy milk and 10x better in protein shakes and smoothies. :)
